2025.04.19 - Friend of Camarillo Pride, Dreamworld Collectibles Grand Re-Opening, Pacific View Mall, Ventura

When our committee reached out to Dreamworld Collectibles owner Shay, they were so willing to help that we left the store with donations that day! Now we'd like to let you know that Dreamworld Collectibles is hosting a Grand Re-opening Celebration at the Pacific View Mall on April 19, 2025. There will be giveaways, cosplay contests, a variety of collectibles for purchase, and a welcoming and inclusive environment. Please come out and support LGBTQIA+ business by stopping by Dreamworld Collectibles!

2025.03.28 - 2nd Annual Painting With a Twist Fundraiser

We gathered again at Painting With a Twist Camarillo. This wonderful environment welcomed 45 supporters who all got to paint, chat, and raise money for this year's Pride festival.

Extra! Extra! Here's what's going on with Camarillo Pride 2025.

We have a date! Saturday, June 7, 2025 at Constitution Park from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
We have our first Camarillo Pride fundraiser for March 28, 2025, at Painting With a Twist Camarillo from 6-8 p.m. Click this link to register.

2024.06.02 - Live, Love, LGBTQIA+ Camarillo Pride

With over 650 people in attendance, the 3rd annual Camarillo Pride happened with so much joy and celebration. For the first time ever, we featured Drag Performers showcasing their amazing talents for all in attendance. Other first-time occurrences were free face painting and Drag Queen Bingo. And as we have in the past, everyone enjoyed opportunities to gather, socialize, and strengthen our LGBTQIA+ community in Camarillo. Special thanks to the many, many volunteers who helped make this happen, as well as to local leaders within Camarillo and Ventura County for supporting our event with your attendance.

2024.06.21 - City of Camarillo Declares June Pride Month Again!

Camarillo Pride and Diversity Collective Ventura County were honored to be recognized by the City Council of Camarillo for helping to ensure Camarillo is a safe place for LGBTQIA+ community members and their families. For the second year in a row, the Mayor of Camarillo acknowledged and thanked Camarillo Pride and Diversity Collective and its leaders for helping to include all residents of Camarillo in building and maintaining a more joyful community. Local LGBTQIA leaders Leandra Hart-Thomas, Edgar Euan, and Amber Thompson spoke to the Camarillo City Council, thanking them for their support, and reminding everyone how much good this recognition does for our local LGBTQIA+ members and beyond.

2024.05.04 - It's Time For Pride Prom 2024

Camarillo Pride has made a donation to help eight (8) people make their way to this year's Pride Prom. Pride Prom of Ventura is an LGBTIQQA+ oriented prom that aims to promote individuality and acceptance among all orientations and gender identities while celebrating diversity and the strive for equality. All proceeds raised go to sustain the Rainbow Umbrella program and the Community Resource Center.

2024.03.26 - Topa Topa Fundraiser Event!

Join us at Topa Topa in Camarillo and The Mark. All are welcome to support Camarillo Pride 2024 for the third year! A percentage of all Topa Topa sales goes directly to paying for this year's Pride and any associated activities. Families welcome! The Pride Committee will be there to socialize from 6:00pm to 9:00pm. Sign up to volunteer! Share stories! Meet new friends!

2024.03.16 - Painting with a Twist Fundraiser Event!

Join us at Painting with a Twist in Camarillo on Friday, May 17th, 2024 from 5:45pm to 8:00pm. All are welcome to support Camarillo Pride 2024 for the third year! Half of all sales will go directly to paying for this year's Pride and any associated activities. Families welcome! Members of the Pride Committee will be there to socialize during the event.
